You can register online, by mail, or in person. Virginia also offers same-day registration during early voting and on Election Day — your ballot is counted provisionally.

Polls are open 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Election Day. Anyone in line at 7:00 PM is entitled to vote.

Bring an acceptable photo or non-photo ID. Without one you may sign an ID Confirmation Statement and still cast a regular ballot.
